Although the colors of autumn can be quite stunning in this part of Holland, the East side of the Zeverijn Park (Bosje van Zeverijn) is regretfully less spectacular. This is partly caused by people who lived near the park and chose to do their own planting in the park throughout the last century. Nice examples are the holly tree (to be seen on the righthand side of cam 1), a now full pine (Christmas) tree and ivy growing on the huge oaks to your left. These plant keep their folliage all year round. For some reason, the leaves of the odly shaped acasia trees seen on cam 2 do not turn yellow or brown in autumn, they mostly fall off green after a few nights of frost or a brisk November storm... You can see the little playground and the (sandy) football field (wite goal posts) in the distance.
